Get Your Own Free Hypster.com Playlist.
We embarked into new territory last Sunday after the ice storm canceled church. We had online internet church for our High Schoolers. We only had a few hours to set it up and promote it but all who participated really enjoyed the virtual experience. Because of that we now have a new youth group chat area at www.ohccyouth.ning.com. Join up and be ready for the next online event.
We have a couple of fundraisers for Mission to Mexico right around the corner. Saturday February 13 we will have babysitting at the church for Parent's Date night.
Sunday March 7 we will be serving lunch at noon right after worship services.

New Information for 2010

We've neglected this poor little blog for a while, I'll put the word out to check in here for updated information. Of course you can save this website in your favorites and come in directly or find us at www.osagehills.com High School Ministry.

We're back

We had an awesome experience in Juarez. Our family who lived in a tiny dirt floor shack with 3 children now has a two room stucco home with a concrete floor, doors, windows and roof that doesn't leak. The experience was heightened by the fact that every night we stayed in the campground in our tents we froze in the March nights . It definitely made us wonder what December and January nights are like for this family with small children. Everybody worked hard and we discovered an indescribable joy in serving others with our time and talents. A big thank you from Steve and the kids to our incredible sponsors; Dick, Ryan, Darian, Shanna and Clint and to all the folks from Osage Hills who sacrificed for us and prayed for us.

We're off to Juarez

Last minute reminders
Be at the church Saturday morning by 9:00. Eat breakfast before you come. Don't forget to pack separately for Saturday and Sunday night (clothes, toiletries and bedding). Sand storms are common in Juarez bring extra contact solution. Don't forget a light for your tent (flashlight or lantern). Be prepared to let God bless us in unexpected and unbelievable ways.
